The 2026 World Deaf Golf Championships brings together the finest deaf golfers from across the globe to compete in various categories on the world-renowned Barsebäck courses.
HCP limit 10.4 for men participating in the respective country's National Teams. For others, the HCP limit is 7.8.

Registration & Qualification
National Selection
Golfers must be selected and nominated by their national deaf golf association.
Entries can only be accepted via their national deaf golf association and that any individual entries will be referred back to their national deaf golf association.
Eligibility Verification
Participants must meet handicap requirements and provide audiogram confirming hearing loss of at least 55dB in the better ear.
Registration Submission
Complete the online registration form and submit all required documentation by April 30, 2026.
Fee Payment
Pay the entry fee which includes ICSD and WDGF Participation fees, practice round, tournament play, opening ceremony and gala dinner.
Participating Nations
Between 20-25 nations will be represented at the Championships, including defending champions from Canada, France, India, The United States and England. Watch for emerging talent from Sweden, South Africa and Germany.
All officials are trained in sign language or will work with interpreters to ensure clear communication throughout the event.
R&A Rules
Championships follows R&A Rules of Golf with specific World Deaf Golf Federation adaptations.
Stroke Play
72 holes stroke play format across four days, with no cut.
Team & Individual
Competition for both individual medals and national team honours.
Live Scoring
Electronic scoring system with visual leaderboard in and around the Club house area.
Live Scoring
WDGC plan to present electronic live scoring system with visual leaderboard in and around the Club house area and in your mobile phones.
We are currently negotiating with Swedish mobile operators for heavy discounted or even free mobile subscription plans (simcard/e-sim) for all registred players and officials.
